About the role

Trinity Workforce Solutions is recruiting a Community Oral Health Officer (COHO) to diagnose and treat common dental conditions, deliver oral health education, and lead community outreach programs, including mobile dental clinics and school dental health initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat common dental conditions.
  • Perform basic dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, extractions, and fluoride applications.
  • Provide oral health education to patients and communities.
  • Lead dental awareness campaigns in schools and maternal-child health clinics.
  • Participate in mobile dental clinics and community outreach activities.
  • Maintain strict standards for hygiene and equipment sterilisation.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Community Oral Health from a recognised institution.
  • Valid registration and licence from the Kenya Medical Practitioners and Dentists Council (KMPDC).
  • Minimum 2 years' post-internship experience.
  • Experience in community outreach programs, school dental health programs, or mobile dental clinics is an added advantage.
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of dental hygiene, oral health, and infection prevention and control.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
